Grower Direct Farms is a wholesale grower in New England and supplies a variety of retail stores and nurseries. They needed a site to showcase their products, history and industry leading bio technology as well as some internal uses like inventory management and employment applications. We developed a colorful, picture rich site.with some private areas as well.
Jacksonville Apartments
This website represent a group of three apartment s complexes in Jacksonville, NC which has a very “young” average age of consumer (military & college). As the owner explained it to me, “my clientele’s age range is 21 - 25 and if its not on the internet, they don’t know about it”. We designed this site with “responsive CSS”, which adapts very well to whatever screen size is being used (very mobile friendly). We also used software that allows the owners to easily update content without know a single bit of code or technical info.
JL Williams.org
JL Williams is an Evangelist and teacher, mentoring pastors and ministries all over the world. He has dozens of partnerships with ministries in Asia, Africa and the Americas. We transformed his website from mere blog into a comprehensiveness portal that makes it easy to find information about all the ministries, books, media, partnerships and more. JL & his staff use the website as the center piece of their communications.
Rampinup.org
When the NC Baptist Aging Ministry decided to attempt a new world record for the number of handicap ramps built in one day, they knew they would need a website to help get the word out. So we built them a “brochure” style website with video, informational packets and downloadable resources for participating churches. What an awesome undertaking their project entails! We were happy to play a small role.
NCBAM
NC Baptist Aging Ministry wanted to utilize their website as an integral, daily tool in their ministry to the aging population in NC and those that minister to the aging. We created a fresh look with 8 headline banners, multiple channels of information (blogs) to communicate and organize a wealth of info, videos, resource downloads, calendars and even a daily devotional idea. The staff now uses this resource as part of their normal work flow.
Upward Lawn Services
This is a simple, four page brochure type website. The page is set-up so the owner can update the content on the pages. Sweet Dreams Linen
Sweet Dreams Linens specializes in renting “stuff” to folks on vacation at the Topsail Island beaches. Cool stuff like beach gear and pig cookers and practical items like linens and baby cribs. Until now there business relied mostly on word of mouth and telephone calls. The owner wanted to get on the web with a full blown rental store, we obliged! We used shopping cart software but had to do quite a bit of customization for the rental business. We also used a nice CMS program for some current and future features
Double Harvest
Double Harvest is a non-profit organization working in third world countries across the globe. The site was designed by Randy & Caleb Durham of Credence Pictures, I was a subcontractor for them on the project. I was responsible for the back-end architecture and most of the development of the “where we work” section as well as a few of the other pages. It was a joy working with Randy and Caleb, they are very creative folks and come up with some GREAT designs.
Fishermen in Support of Heroes
F.I.S.H. is a non-profit organization that honors and supports members of our military focusing on Wounded warriors and veterans. They needed a new website to communicate their vision and activities. We created on for them using a patriotic theme that reflects their patriotism and mission. In addition to the website design and development, we helped design their new logo.
Offshore Experiences Sportfishing
This one was fun and a bit unique in how it came about! The father of owner of this business (Captain Chip Baker) contacted me about building his son a website for his new business. It was to be a surprise Christmas present. I had a good idea of what he wanted so I agreed to build the site and make any changes Chip wanted after he saw the site. Chip was surprised and really liked the site. I will say I was a bit nervous about building a site without direct input and progress reviews by the owner, but in the end it worked out great, Mission Accomplished!
Mike’s Mission Trip
I have been working with the Maasai people in Kenya for the past five years. In anticipation of my next trip, I designed this blog website to keep folks informed on the preparations. It is a fairly simply site but demonstrated how a blog can be used for a non-profit project or fundraiser. I used the contact management features of EE to keep my prayer partners updated on requests. It worked out real well.
Hunter’s Haven Taxidermy
Being a taxidermist, Gery felt one of the most important things for folks visiting the site to see is examples of his work. So we highlighted his creations in several ways using flash programing, photo galleries and image links. Now anyone visiting the site is sure to notice his fine work! Speaking of fine work, he did an 8 point buck I shot last season, looks awesome!
Ultimate Reaction Sportfishing
This site a commercial site promoting the business of a charter boat captain’s fishing guide service. The owner wanted a blog for fishing reports and the ability to add links, photos and other other items without knowing any HTML, we built it for him! It also uses a state of the art slideshow.
TackleMonkey.com
When the owner of TackleMonkey was developing his online store, he brought us in to develop a tackle wiki and populate it with information. The wiki is chock full of information about fish, fishing, tackle and related entries. We even cross referenced the wiki entries to items in the store when appropriate. The result is like a big magnet for the store, bring anglers to the site to find the info they are seeking, then they often stay and shop. Later as a consultant, we researched, help select and then populated the store with products.
Topsail Angler
This is my personal hobby page, fishing! I use this site as a development site. Currently it contains a blog, a Wiki, Discussions forums, a Photo Gallery, Flash slideshows and a twitter feed among others features. Toward the end of 2012, I updated the “look” and made the site mobile device friendly.
Bluewater Candy Lures
Bluewater Candy Lures is a manufacture of saltwater fishing tackle. We worked with their web design company, Caleb Durham Designs, in laying out the site in away that is easy to navigate between products. Visitors also find products by the type species that an angler wishes to target. Then we uploaded and laid out all the products and species pages, added testimonial pages and continue to update and maintain the site as needed.
